Lead Administrative Assistant

Pittsburgh , PA

The Lead Administrative Assistant position is responsible for supporting the executive in the designated functional area.  Such duties may include:  scheduling meetings/maintaining calendar, scheduling travel, maintaining files, answering/screening phone calls, processing invoices, coordinating conference room schedules, developing presentations, reports, event planning  and correspondences, and assists with other special projects as needed.


Required Skills:

Organizes and maintains files and records

Updates project spreadsheets

Organizes and coordinates meetings as necessary

Creates document imaging

Creates correspondence for staff

Maintains inventory and orders office supplies

Sorts mail and answers incoming calls

Schedules and coordinates travel arrangements


Required Qualifications:

 High School Diploma or Equivalent

 At least four years of experience in progressively responsible administrative positions in a public company, or related industry, i.e. accounting or law firms

 Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
