Primary Responsibilities


As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team the successful candidate would be responsible for: internal financial reporting, ad-hoc project related financial analysis, assisting in the preparation of tariff filings, and government required statistical reporting.


Responsible for the preparation of internal management financial reporting and analysis which includes compiling segment level actual results, performing variance analysis (comparisons to budget and prior period).
Assist in the preparation of short term revenue forecasts.
Prepare various volume and revenue analyses to better understand performance in specific areas.
Assist business units with annual budget preparation.
Prepare special request financial analyses that can be in areas such as: company comparisons to peer group, research on industry trends, etc.
Prepare and submit various statistical reports required for government agencies such as the Energy Information Administration (EIA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the US Census Bureau.
Assist in the preparation of annual tariff filings required for various governmental agencies as well as new or adjusted tariffs required outside of the annual filings timeframe.

Minimum Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the area of financial analysis
Excellent analytical, communication, and computer related skills
Intermediate-level MS Excel skills

Preferred Experience:


Financial analysis experience
Strong SAP analysis and reporting skills
