Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. A substitute for Station Operator/Terminal Operator during absences and for other coverage’s required by operations.


Primary Responsibilities

Performs all routine maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment, such as painting, cleaning, sweeping, mowing, making minor repairs or parts replacements to Company equipment. Assist Station Operators/Terminal Operators in making visual checks and pumping changes; opening/closing valves for product routing. Assists in launching/receiving line scrappers and other types of pigging devices. Assists Technicians and other Maintenance personnel as required. Performs quality control, identifies product changes as required. Must maintain a thorough knowledge of current operating procedures, and be familiar with basic hand tools and be able to operate all products testing equipment necessary to obtain accurate results. Assigned to rotating shift as required. Subject to shift hold over or call out at all hours. Must be available to substitute on rotating shift as required.


Minimum Requirements

High School graduate, or equivalent. Must be dependable, able to work with little or no supervision. Must be a qualified Station Operator/Terminal Operator (or qualify within a predetermined timeframe). Must be familiar with basic hand tools and be able to operate all products testing equipment necessary to obtain accurate results. Uses and operates all pertinent safety equipment when performing duties in potentially hazardous areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, etc.). Responsible to help maintain safe and healthful working conditions by exercising sound judgment, and to comply with safety regulations and standards. Must write legibly and neatly. Must be able to perform accurate calculations with use of a calculator. Must be able to communicate clearly and work well with others. Must be able to learn to operate personal computers and communications equipment.
