The Big Freeze in Ohio - Update

For once Ohio and freeze are in the same sentence and it is not about the weather. I am talking about the renewable energy freeze. The 2 year renewable energy freeze that Gov. Kasich signed into law in 2014.

Where the Wind Blows.

According to Wikipedia this is wind power. “Wind energy or wind power is extracted from air flow using wind turbines or sails to produce mechanical or electrical energy. Windmills are used for their mechanical power, windpumps for water pumping, and sails to propel ships.”

 

Broad Ohio coalition wants renewable energy targets restored

 A broad coalition of state business, health, community and environmental groups called Wednesday for Ohio lawmakers to reinstate mandatory targets for the use of renewable and advanced energy sources such as wind, solar and clean coal.
