The Traveling Network Administrator will travel 75 of the time to 220+ remote client locations throughout the US for the purposes of Network monitoring, administration, and upgrade.


RESPONSIBILITIES Implement and support WAN, LAN, VoIP and IP Telephony technologies at remote facilities according to standards and best practices. Accountable for the stability, resiliency and general health of the network. Travel to facilities for setup, support and decommissioning of sites. After hours support may be required at times. Monitor and utilize the service desk ticketing system to resolve issues in a timely manner. Help review, identify and fix the root cause for incidents and problems. Work with team and providers to reduce their occurrences. Participate in the optimization of infrastructure technologies and proactively identify gaps and implement solutions. Ensure disaster recovery capabilities are available for sites with high availability requirements. Participate as requested in disaster recovery rehearsals. Perform hardware, software, and firmware upgrades as needed including testing, configuring, and implementations. Troubleshoots and resolves critical network and system issues. Test and validate all new hardware and connections for proper configuration and performance. Upgrade and administer routers, switches, and other hardware. REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of hands-on relevant experience. Hands-on experience supportingmaintaining WAN, LAN, VoIP and IP Telephony technologies. Ability to travel on a rotation of 2 weeks out, 1 week in the Findlay office. Must consent to background, drug screen, and driving records check. Must possess a valid driverrsquos license. All travel expenses paid.
