Utiliies Information System Architect

West Orange , NJ

The successful candidate hired into this position will have a strong leadership presence and sales experience. They should have deep Industry (GAS Utility) knowledge, both to drive how the technology addresses the Business needs, as well as to drive client acceptance of our deliverables solution. At least ten years experience in project delivery in the utility space in one or more of the business and systems areas listed below.

Qualified candidates should possess the following

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ten or more years of consulting experience in utility project work
Experience in the following areas

Enterprise Asset Management Systems (e.g. CGI39s Asset and Resource Management (ARM), Maximo, Ellipse)
Enterprise Work Management Systems (e.g. WMIS, Passport)
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (e.g. ESRI, Smallworld or Integraph, GE39s MapFrame FieldSmart)
Workforce Management Systems (ABB Service Suite (formerly Ventyx), ClickSoft, Cyclo, CGI etc...)
Enterprise Reporting Solutions (FocaPoint or other DW products Enterprise Integration Platforms (e.g. WebMethods, TibCo etc..)
SCADA and SmartGrid Systems Infrastructure

Experience working with delivery assurance policies, procedures and principles
Experience with COTS application integration.
Strong communication skills
Ability to provide team leadership and support to project implementation teams
Ability to be a high-impact player on individual engagements
At least five years experience in a minimum of three of the following Solution Strategy Development Business Requirements Definition System Integration Model Development Business Process Definition Data Architecture and Governance Enterprise Level Logical Data Modeling
Ability to travel 7
5 SAP and or Oracle consulting implementation knowledge and experience are considered a plus for this position


Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelors degree in computer science, information technologies, or related field preferred
Nine or more years of information technology or technical architecturedesign experience
Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software
Experience working with company developed technology (the Companys Catalyst andor equivalent or vendor-mandated methodology)
Experience working with industry specific technologies
